my exile blows like 32 resis and 900 def what do u expect it was cheap as hell and I dont see a difference in templar and a zealot :|

I think templar is cuz u don't use lifetap's items and many things like that u can't use to build it...

It has certains rules so u can call ur zealot a templar....

i think there's a bit of confusion here. a Templar is actually the fancy name for FoHer...that's what i see ppl on other forums call it anyway. a Templer would be a paladin who's qualified to duel in Temple, a paladin dueling league on uswest sc nl.

as i recall, V/T is short for Vindicator/Templar, which stands for smiter/foher. no, i didn't make that up.

i didn't immediately know what u meant when u said Templer, as i have never heard a Temple Paladin be called that, but i guess it sorta makes sense.

Can use set sharkskin gloves or bloodfists, they work. Can't think of anything though off hand.

crafted ones with CB and ias and stuff...those work. also some rare gloves are great. i'm gonna try out ik gloves since the dual 20 stats help me maintain my ultra low str and ultra low dex.

My pally is a Ladder Templar Zealot so I guess ill post his pic anyways.

Its norm so his res is high he has like 20-70 res in hell. 86% fhr break point. 74% ds. 100% cb. Cant be frozen (Cham'd His Gface.) He uses various items like Eth Death Zerk (The runeword not the unique) and Fortitude. He may be a lil bit slower but he still rapes Burnin's Zealot. He had lifetap on me and still lost rofl. I use my pally to countess, trav, andy, baal, pindle, meph, duri, shenk and eldritch, and occasional chaos/d. I know its a lot eh? He lives better than my sorc and somehow finds more shit even with that amazing 42% mf.

I actually just opened an account on Ladder simply for the purpose of testing this build and I'm rather liking it. Its nice to not have to worry about what immunity a monster is cause I just sac the hell out of it no matter what. I will most definetly try and see this build through.


[Edit:Oh and by the way you should recommend that the first...10 or so stat point go into vitality cause using scarafice and taking hits really lowers you QUICKLY.]

Armor: 1370+ Def Archon Enigma
Weapon: 40 Resis Hoto
Weapon 2: CTA
Shield: HoZ
Shield 2: Spirit
Boots: Eth treks
Gloves: Magefists
Belt: Arach
Rings: Soj
Amulet: Perf Mara

Skills:

20 Blessed hammer
20 Concentration
20 Blessed Aim
20 Vigor
20 Holy shield
10+ Defiance

Stats:

Strength: Enough to wear gear
Dex: 100-125
Vit: All the rest
Mana: 20

Mercs Gear:

Act 2 Defensive. Not sure if you want freeze or not but I like the defiance.

Helm: Delerium
Armor: Ber'd Perf Levi
Weapon: Eth Collosus Voulge insight

Inventory:

1 Anni, 3 Combats. I decreased the amount of combats because when you mf you need spare space in your inventory.

Strategies in PvM:

Teleport under the monster and use your hammers, usually kills within 3-4 hits.

Tough Monsters that Kill:

Undead Dolls: They explode, kill them before they hit.
Oblivion Knights: I hate IRON MAIDEN, though it does not affect you, it kills your merc and you'll have very little mana without the inisght.

Strategies in PvP:

WW Barbs/Conc Barbs/Throwing Barbs:

Teleport under them and attack with hammers OR just wait for them to come to you Big Grin.

Ele Druid, Shapeshifters, Sorcs:

Teleport randomly and fire 1-3 hammers, then teleport away randomly because most of the time they will follow you.

Necros: Heres a challenge, teleport under them and try to get a hammer through, because of their FCR and damage it will be hard to take one down.

Zons: Teleport under them and keep on firing your hammers and hope they hit.

Trap Asns: Very hard to kill because of their mind blast, and traps. I suggest using FHR charms and TGODS + Wisps.

Zealots: No battle here, just teleport under them, 2-3 hammers and they die.

Hammerdins: These are close fights and depends on who hits who first.

FoHer: Extremely tough to kill

No, my hammerdin is level 95 and has most of those Maxed except defiance which is like 4 from max
