I have a psp, it's a great multimedia player but sorta large for me, not very discreet. You CAN connect to the internet with a psp but you need to have your psp within the range of a wireless internet connection. No need for a card I believe, but it requires the psp to be updated to firmware 2.0. The update is also a requirement to play some of the more recent games, such as GTA:Liberty City Stories. However, there is usually a setback to updating a psp. In my case, if I were to update my psp from 1.5 to 2.0+, I would not be able to run most homebrew software on it. Homebrew software lets you do many things on the psp that you normally wouldn't be able to, my favorite being emulation. The more recently manufactured psps probably already come in the latest version. There is a downgrader, but it comes down to what you want or how much money you got.

i didnt like the first psps, they were slow on gaming and the screen broke easy. the newer ones havent changed much screenwise and the speed is still a bit slow on occasion. i'm still waiting till they change thier processor setup which should be in 8 months or so.

wow it breaks? =/ hm..i know about 8 friends who has a psp they all keep it very clean and nothing broken. maybe it takes gentleness

i carry mine everywhere. the places i'm usually around (middle of nowhere) we get bored easy so its usually in my back pocket or in my shirt pocket. the loading is fixable if you want to order the upgrade parts. hastings offered to order it in the past but i told them they can just keep it and i'll stick with my mp4 player

you don't have much room on a psp, if you're going to spend the money then get an IPOD.. PSP games aren't worth it, but don't get a nano, get a big one with video an d lots of room for like 400$ instead of 250$ for a PSP.

it depends if you even listen to a totaly of 20 gb of song for a video. so if you listen to small amounts of song get a psp because there are games and games. and an ipod can only be used for music. psp are also $199 without games, and you can just save up some money everymonth im sure you can reach 50 dollars to get a game.

lol this may be a bit of topic but since this is a d2 site sorta thing and i heard psp mentioned a few times, my friend emulated d2 onto his psp and can play bnet on it some how, and dont ask me how cause i am t3h no0by

psp emulating d2? u do know d2 with xpac with multiplayer support is like 1.8gb =/
anyway, whatever u do dont get an ipod,

psp gets extremely boring after a while, its freakin huge =/ get a music/vid player or w/e like in the link u had and ull be happy.
plus if u get an iPod or a PSP, chances of it getting stolen are much higher than anything else

soon DS will have internet browsing, which will be far superior than the psp's (with touchscreen, what isnt?)

theres a chance he was just lying to you diablo 2 was keyboard and mouse based and isnt capable of a controller. I know. i've tried with my sidewinder controller.
