everyone on ladder uses the new runewords now.. but i still must say .. nigma hoto cta are really still alive on ladder even tho massive new and cheaper but better runewords has been out

well, phoenix can be in a weapon, right?
that would give 400% enhanced defense.
Plus phoenix in an armour or shield or w/e would give another 400% ed.
the barb would have godly defense if he had at elast 10 points in iron skin, and ig he wielded a botd in the other hand he could still dish out a fair amount of damage to other duelers or w/e. it was just a suggestion, dont need to get all worked up.

phenix is only weapon and shields not armor.....

pheonix is used mostly for shield, and usually a grief is used with it, by the way pheonix is enhanced Damage, not defence, so there would be No Addition To DEF>< Pheonix isnt that good in my opionion other then on charger. By the way guys that list sucks ***, it doesnt tell u what the hell the items frickin do...... why would u make some random item if u dint know what they did???? some people man.... some people...

Go to Arreatsummit, that is a gr8 site, and if they have a list here im sure it is also good, but arreat summit is 10x the times of that page, that's the shittiest runeword page there is.
