windows xp problems

i just rebooted and installed windows xp professional and everything was going smooth until i tried to get on battle net it keeps sayin "battle net is unable to properly identify your version application" ne one know whats wrong?:confused:
i have an idea still open for suggestions but i think its my firewall checked not firewall
