Im voting tomorrow, for Kerry.
Most of my friends aren't voting, saying it's like choosing between the lesser of two evils. Let me ask you this: would you rather have a bad president? or a REALLY bad president. I'm not voting for change, I'm voting for IMPROVEMENT.
11-01-2004, 10:24 PM
Well, lol, I guess it can live a little longer. A lot of my friends are throwing their votes away into third party candidates. They claim that by doing that, they are protesting against both candidates. So I ask them about the platforms that their third party choices are running on and they have no clue. Voting for somebody you have no idea about is very dangerous in my opinion...and very stupid. I'm voting for Bush btw, I hate both guyz though.

well who is the really bad prez and the bad i like bush because it is like caos to change the president in the middle of a war like situation so lets think like this if bush becomes prez we will have a better chance on changing the middle east and if kerry gos in then we will move out and they will be pissed at us over there to bomb us again so i really think that bush should remain prez.
11-01-2004, 10:36 PM
Bush has done an ok job with iraq and all, but i dont like a lot of his other ideas.
Schwarzenegger is pissing me off too. But that's for another time.
11-01-2004, 10:36 PM
Haha, if the governator runs for office, now that would be something!
11-01-2004, 11:18 PM
He can't, he wasn't born here, thank (insert whatever here) for the constitution!!
There was an amendment proposed a year ago that would let someone not born here run for president if he/she had lived here for 20 years. The person that propsed it is a friend of Arnie...hmmmmm :/ Back to topic: Go Kerry!
11-01-2004, 11:26 PM
My entire life for the next 24 hours will revolve around this and only this. Jeez, I'm already nervous...I hope this won't be a repeat of 2000 with more recounts, cuz then I'd have to show up at Washington with Rocket launchers...and the FBI, CIA, Secret Service shows up at my house in 5 minutes?

I hear the Republicans are trying to prevent the overseas soldiers from voting this year. Could it be because if they are allowed to, Bush's chance will go down the toilet? Hearing this pisses me off to no end, I'm registered Republican, but I'm seriously considering re-registering next year as independant.

i would vote for kerry if i could. unfortunately, i can't. I just... hope to god that bush doesn't win. that's my platform. down with bush. One good point to bush winning this election: he can't run again. our forefathers had the foresight to prevent someone from screwing us over for more than eight years. thanks guys!
edit: as of 9:00 pm pacific, it was 219 bush, 199 kerry. |
