Hey guys uhh i heard that mf from 200-380 is the best but i have also heard that the bug on that is now fixed and the higher ur mf is the better drops u get but i dunno which one is true and which one is not can someone please tell me wats going on here?

well if u search around there wioul be at ealst 5 threads about mf and the 'perfect' mf.

That's not true, say someone who has 800 MF can get much worse drops compared to someone who has about 350 MF. The last I heard on this topic was 300-400 MF was good, anything much higher (500+) or much lower (200-) wasn't worth anything. Thats what I've been hearing, I might be wrong, but you never know unless you would ask Battle.net.

Yeah, zNe0 was closest to the truth...after 550 or so it evens out and it's really useless to sacrifice killing power for more MF%. Even with a higher MF%, you're not guaranteed to find better items...totally random, as I understand it.

here i have made this chart with the help with DiabloII.net it should help you quite well c right now by mf is 380-400 in between soo yeah iif your mf is too high all your gonna find is magic items with a low chance of finding uniques

I dont get it... in that chart it saids if you have 0% magic find, you have 0% to find magic items, rare, sets and uniques...that isnt true is it?

i believe it means it would be like 0% better chance of finding magic items. there is always a chance of finding them, but MF just increases those chances.

Is 300 and 450 same or should I use 450 ?
