BIO & Strategy:

The kicker is very much a tech build because it has a lot of hidden tricks in the building of the character itself. Fade provides physical damage reduction (1 per level) and Venom adds poison damage to your kicks (not shown in stat window). In addition to great kick damage delivered at godly speeds the attack rate of your kicks are so fast when using Dragon Talon that you have an unbeleivable number of chances to get Deadly Strike and or Open Wounds, which are stacked on like no tommorrow, and with this build are for the most part gauranteed to get one of those. Also because your attacking weapon becomes your feet (boots) you dont have any limitations on the rest of your equipment allowing you to load on equipment to counter act almost any situation!!

VS melee and melee style characters this build utilizes an extremely high level Dragon Talon which delivers 8 consecutive kicks at max break point with the use of a 6 shael'ed phase blade (+120% IAS) or combination Burst of Speed + Bartuc's w/Shael rune. Using the phase blade allows the assassin to use the skill Fade during a melee duel, rather than Burst of Speed thus supplying them with the maximum amount of damage reduction available without having to sacrifice gear to make the 50%DR. Or if you can get your damage reduction from your gear (50%) then you can make use of Bartuc's w/Shael and your low level Burst of Speed (which will receive +skill bonuses to reach fastest break point)

Although this build's defense is low her melee ability is surprisingly versatile due to her speed and the chance for an occasional knockback from Dragon Talon during melee combat. Although chances are you will defeat your opponant before Dragon Talon manages to knock them back.

VS caster of all sorts this build merely hits "W" to switch to dual Jade Talons for an unearthly bonus to Hit Recovery, Skills, and elemental resistance as well as the special ability to have a 57%-60% chance to block SPELLS!!! Utilizing a little tech from a level 1 Mindblast, receiving +skill bonuses to raise its stun length to at least 4.2 seconds, this build places stun on it's caster opponant allowing them to follow up a massive damage dragon flight with a speedy dragon talon. The stun in PvP knocks out the opponants Faster Hit Recovery and casters generally have very low defense so therefore if the flight doesnt kill them instantly the dragon talon will most of the time get in every single of the 8 kicks without the opponant teleporting away due to getting locked up. GG stun tech!

(Always Dragon Flight a hammerdin from underneath. Dragon Flight goes in a straight line and ends in front of its target. If you Dragon Flight from above you will land above them, if you d flight from below you will land in a hole in hammer's radius. BE VERY CAREFUL NAMELOCKING!!! IF YOU KNOCK THE HAMMERDIN BACK AND ARE NAMELOCKED YOU WILL RUN INTO THE HAMMERS WHEN YOUR CHARACTER MOVES BACK UP TO THE HAMMERDIN!!)

[quick note: The CoA is in use because its a perfect balance when vsing casters and melee alike, but if you are going to only melee with this build or choose not to prepare for -res via enemy skills then for a helm you can use a Delerium Tiara which will have close to 300 defense and no stat requirements but this guide prepares to face every build you could run into. hence CoA]

Weapon: Phase Blade w/ 6x Shael Rune (+120% IAS on a -30 base speed weapon)
Armor: Duress Dusk Shroud (20% enhanced dmg, 40% fhr, 33% open wounds, 15% crushing blow)

[Crushing Blow is nerfed PvP to 1/10th target life. Also note that 1/10 is based on their base HP and does not work like static. Crushing Blows, if 10 are landed, is a kill]

Gloves: Dracul's Grasp (25% open wounds and Lifetap)
Belt: Verdungo's Hearty Cord (life+dr+fhr)
Boots: Shadow Dancers (Kick Damage = 83-149)

[Up'ed Gore Riders are better damage by far thx to mods but u sacrifice the potential +25 dex bonus, which adds to dmg as well as attack rating, and 30% faster hit recovery. Good lord you dont wanna lose that.]

Amulet: Highlord's Wrath (+1 skills and 30% deadly strike at LvL82)
Rings: 2 x Perf Raven Frost

~*~ALTERNATE MELEE~*~

For the use of more FHR, AR, and str/dex. You may think to use Bartucs. If you do SHAEL it! Not a 15%, use a Shael for 20%. Bartucs (greater talons) is a -30 speed weapon just like a Phase Blade.

If you choose to use Bartuc's then make sure you use a raven frost because you are going to need 30% IAS from the jewels in CoA.

Keep in mind that you will also need to use Burst of Speed during the melee duel instead of Fade.
If you so choose to use Bartucs for this build you do NOT need to add points to Burst of Speed because your equipment will bring it up to where it needs to be for you!!!

Since you'll use Burst of Speed during melee and not Fade you will need to compensate for the DR% loss that you would have gained from Fade. (approx 33% during melee / 37% with Jade Talons)

Easy single item swap solutions to this:

**Stormshield replaces Sanctuary** <--my suggestion

or

Shaftstop w/Shael replaces Duress <--also acceptable (newb budgeter :-P)

~*~ ALTERNATE SETUP ~*~
The following changes the Amulet and the Gloves on this build for a different approach during melee combat.

Gloves: Lavagout (20% IAS w/ 2% chance of a level 10 Enchant on strike for AR bonus!)

[Lavagout also provides you with 24% more fire resistance]

Amulet: Atma's Scarab (20% bonus to AR and a 5% chance for LvL2 Amp Dmg)

[Atma's gives you a 25% lower chance of double damage than Highlords does but unlike Deadly Strike, if amplify damage goes off it will double the damage of a deadly strike, a normal hit, and open wounds alike. Amplify damage will also remain on your opponant for several more hits. Therefore you sacrifice 25% chance for double damage for a 5% chance to keep double damage longer]

I'm sure people will want the Dracul's Grasp for this. I personally use the Dracul's when I need them but I like Lavagout and Atma's better because its more AR and if amp goes off it is GG.

Atma's and Dracul's can be used together but the entire point of using Atma's over Highlord's is nullified because Dracul's Lifetap can shutoff Amp. We switched to Atma's for 20%bonus to ar but mainly for the amp. Ive done it, I generally actually keep both setups on my char - one in stash. You can pick.

~*~ ALTERNATE JEWELRY ~*~
This guide is based on the use of dual perfect raven frosts but if you decide you need more AR than what you have then change the following equipment.

Helm: Crown of Ages w/ 1x -15%req/+15%ias jewel & Cham rune
Amulet: Angelic Wings
Rings: 2 x Angelic Halos

There is to much math involved and to many items that you could change out in the equipment setup as far as +AR goes, so I'm just going to give you the strength required to add and a target Attack Rating to shoot for. The Dexterity displayed is your minimum dexterity to use your equipment.(Even though you'll add more to dex just for AR and dmg anyway). This way you can i.e. change out 2xraven for angelics and this guide will still help you.

TOTAL STAT POINTS AVAILABLE AT LEVEL 82 = 420 (haha dube it up baby)

Strength: (20) - +127(only add +117 if you use Bartucs) = 167 (min str for shadow dancer)
Dexterity: (20) - 136 min dex for phase - 25 dex from dancers, -40 dex from raven frosts, -10 from Annihilus (based on lowest stats) = 61 min req dex - 20 base dex = min 41 stat pts into dex to use equipment!
Attack Rating: 20,000-25,000
Vitality: (20) +All Remaining Points come HERE (your dex will improve dmg without str)

What shield does this build use for main eqipment? I only find the 6 shael phase blade. Think i read somewhere that he used a Bartuc with it, but it shoud not work. Also, i think a grief phase blade would be better than a 6 shael phase blade.

Dmg from grief dosent transfer..
Someone did a test and equipped sin with cracked boots and grief....She couldnt kill anything in nm act 1...

magical items get 3 sockets max, meaning a phase blade could have 40% ias on it, then with 3 shaels it would have 100%, or a 6 soc shaeled one will have 120%

And also Crushing blow doesnt work like stated Crushing blow does 1/10 life , which is true, then 1/10 or the remaining 1/9, then 1/10 or the remaining 1/9 of the 1/9 etc.
