I know theres a sticky with a website about drops, but it doesn't say best place to find them.
Heres the question, is there specific places that drop certain types of items better?
The things I'm lookin for are
necro shields
circlets (for any char)
pally scepters
asn katars.
I'm not sure if theres really even an aswer to this but figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

id guess cows for necro shields, paladin and assa stuff and gambling for circlets

1st off, don't double post Pantallica will get pissed and if he's in a bad mood he'll ban you
2nd, the best place for Circlets/Coronets etc. are probably from Gambling, everything else are just random, depending on if you want rare/magical/normal (runewords), if you're having trouble finding items, try Pits in Tamoe Highlands Act 1, all monsters there are at high lvls and will drop good things for you if you spend your time, many are immune to fire/cold, sometimes archers that's immune to lightning.

there is an equal chance of any item dropping off a non boss non champion or unique monster that can drop that item. cows are suggested for necro shields, pally sceptres, and assasin katars since there are a lot of cows per game and to find socketed items just get 0 mf. cows also have few immune monsters in their lvl making them easy to kill. as for circlets, meph usually drops some if u have decent mf.

sry for the double post but i got shifted off the front page so quick i wanted to keep it up there to maybe grab someones who knews attention so sry bout that.
ok so guess its cows and gambling for me, thanx. I'm just sick of seeing all these cool fcr +2skills circs, or splendor necro shields with awesome mods (cant remember exacty but i think the mods on one was +2 pnb, +2spirit, they turned it into splendor), and not being able to afford it. I've never been a good trader so finding is next best thing.

anywhere in hell since any gambler has an equal chance, most people prefer gheed or jamella though.

It doesn't need to be on the front page for us to answer you, it still in the forums.
Hawktheslayer, Pantallica wouldn't ban him for double posting the first time, he would give him a formal warning, and if it presists then maybe then.
