No one can join my games

Hello everyone, i am new to this site, and what a great site this is, the best one i have seen!!!! i am having problems with people joining my games, is there something that i can do to help this. and i have some trouble joining thier games also. that is with a hacked character, but with legit i can join and they can join mine just fine.

maybe restart ur comp or reinstall d2. that happend to me once

Is this is in a TCP/IP game? Do you have a router? Routers will have to configured a little to make people able to join your game.

I had the same problem. So, as long as you do have a router, I'll be able to help to in no time.

hm... I think it's a simple solution...

Change your player number into 8 instead of 1.

also, hacked chars do have a problem joining I've experienced it when I was hack dueling on open, that means your char has a bit of a problem and need refixation. Meaning you hacked him too much.

you have a firewall of some sort, explain better, you mean you can only have people join games on closed bnet and not open? If so then you need to config your router to allow axess to port 6112. I had the same problem one time.

And you could have overhacked him, but as long as it isent saying something like bad charicter data and just saying failed to join game then its probly not the case and the firewall IS the problem.

Hacked character have tons of problems joining games. Sometimes if you're too hacked, the game won't let you join games at all.

My advice to you is to let go of the idea of open battle.net, and come play on closed. You'll rarely fail to join games, rarely lag out, and rarely have "bad dead bodies" (only happened to me in 09 when I was duping )

anyone can make games on d2 and be able to have ppl join. the games arnt on ur comp, there on bnet servers. im behind a fire wall i cant host games on things such as counter strike, or wc3. But d2 is np. maybe ppl just find no interest in ur games

o, ok. I kinda figured it out. i have been reading alot on this website and have learned that overhacking is bad! and maybe that was why i couldnt join games or maybe they kept droping from my games. dont really know. but by your comment i now have a complex about people not liking me... just kidding! I have learned alot from this site, so thanks for your feed back.
