what is the ideal magic find percentage to get good stuff?

The more the better, as long as you aren't sacrificing character integrity. Some said that there is a point that chances to find magic items diminishes, but that patch has been fixed recently by Blizzard and they actually have a guide to getting perfect magic find.

Well ive been experementing lately it all depends on what bosses you can handle.... If you can handle Baal with low mf go and kick baal's a**, But then again if you cant but you can handle Mephisto or pindle with high mf, Do them. Ive had the best luck so far with 253 mf running count, andy, meph, Pindle, Eldrich, and Shenk with a bot. My character sux to badly to run a baal bot with or i would.

Run what you can but the more mf is deff. better in most cases its all about what you can get away with

I dont think there is a "perfect Magic find" i mean more is better but, its always do with what you can

Phantom, don't double post. Perfect magic find is existant, it's 1157%, the highest you can possibly go in the game.

Yeah it is existant but doing so without sacrificing character quality is ludicris.
