u can use uped hoz to get decent smite dmg, normal hoz has way too low dmg. u can use dracs for lifetap, so yes u can use that cuz exile is freakin expensive (btw exile crown sheilds are cheap but they have very low smite dmg)

Instead of gilded smite dmg...itll be zakarum's smite dmg.

Yeah exile is a lot do u think a budget smiter(not poor budget i mean like not all p gear) which is still decent could kill ubers? ANd about life tap...the ubers have low drain affectiveness and all the skeles cant be tapped cause they r undead so i dont c life tap coming in handy at the ned when only meph and skeles are left.

If I get an eth exile I shouldn't take any exiles w/out res right? I'm trading my vortex phoenix w/ 44 res and 2 ppl offered me ed e exiles with like 1100 dmg. One a 34 ed. Are those still worth alot?

i would get a resist exile instead of a dmg one... i think u mean 1100 defense, ive never seen +1100 dmg on an exile. and dmg % goes up to 65%, wheres all resists go up to 45. so, that one is low

Just a FYI, I beat the uber's by myself with lvl 82 smiter, took about 10 minutes...because of mephisto heh. Diablo and baal were really easy, and mephisto wasn't technically "hard", but here's what I was wearing...

non-socketed Coa, not perfect
decent fort
high grief phase blade
mid-high exile
dracul's
dungos
war trav's
+1 pally ammy, + res's
soj
raven frost

that's it, a lot easier than I thought it would be... Oh yeah, I died about 8-10 times heh

Chains of Honor:

+2 To All Skills
+200% Damage To Demons
+100% Damage To Undead
8% Life Stolen Per Hit
+70% Enhanced Defense
+20 To Strength
Replenish Life +7
All Resistances +65
Damage Reduced By 8%
25% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items

Fortitude:

All Resistances +25-30 (varies)
Damage Reduced By 7
12% Damage Taken Goes To Mana
+1 To Light Radius

and thats why you shouldnt look at the arreat summit page. spirit and fort runewords are messed up... you must combine the weapon+armor affixes to get the fort stats, 300% ed, +25-30 to resists, chilling armor, % enhanced def... and a lot more.. it beats the crap out of a lame coh.

Oh...Ok...and about Greif, is there any substitute for it? I will keep trying to find a Fort and a Greif but in the mean time I would really like a better weapon then a crappy Atlantean sword. :confused:

black flail will work... eth lacerator will work if you have +75 all resists against an enemy with conviction standing beside you to make up for lifetap... lacerator also has amp to help you kill faster.

hey again, can yu tell me the price range (in hrs) of mid-high giref and a mid-high vortex ??? and also i dont kno wat gloves to use...rends or ias gloves --which ias gloves are best?

Ring (2): Raven Frost (234 AR, 20 Dex)
Ammy: Mara's Kelidescope

CoH* - Reason I use this is for resists of course, but I put on Fortitude that my friend got and it only added 3 to my dmg :confused: . I dont think thats right but of course CoH adds 2 to all skills. But could +2 All Skills really make Fortitude look bad? Give me your thoughts please.

CoA** - Ok I havent found a person willing to trade theirs atm. Maybe Im just not looking in the right places. IDK, but I dont have Guillaume's Face So what would be a better substitute then CoA and that? Shako? Please give me your thoughts about this too.

So are you saying that Fort's %ED wont show its true effect on the Character Screen with a Smiter Build? I ask this because my friend plays a Zealot and he said he got 1.5k ED from wearing Fort. Making me believe that he could see it on the Character Screen.

I don't know, i just made my smiter like 2 days ago, and low str gear smiters seem to kill me more than I kill them w/ coa. I haven't done trist yet, someone might do a run with me later on. And don't use hoz if its not up'd.

LITTLE OFF TOPIC: To tell you the truth after about a week of the new patch, I got my first SoHs (3). I did Uber Trist and nobody wanted them So I go out and I trade 1 SoH for EExile 700 def but I never looked close enough at it to find that it had +40 Resists too. I was just so excited cuz I ripped him bad. So I tell my friend and I am currently letting him use it. After that I had to go to work, when I come back that same day I traded another SoH for Archon Enigma.

A few days later I found a guy to trade his Call to Arms (2 Bo) and his Grief PB for my last SoH. I have done several Uber Trist runs since that and I have like 5 more SoHs but now its just really rare to find a newb to 1.11.

I say that was a good use of 3x SoHs :devilish:

Shield (2): Splendor [trying to get a cheap Spirit]
Belt: Vergundoes
Gloves: Draculs Grasp
Boots: Goreriders
Ring (1): Raven Frost (237 AR, 20 DEX)
Ring (2): Bul Kathos Wedding Band
Ammy: Maras

I did some math and figured some stuff out:

55% Faster Hit Recovery
50% Crushing Blow
35% Open Wounds
35% Faster Run/Walk
30% Deadly Strike

I cant remember the good range for these so can some please remind me with a smack to the head and a nice post. TY Opinions on this build are appriciated.
