I've only been playing for a year. 
The only good pieces of gear in there are my Washburn Dime V (the camouflage guitar) and the Behringer amp. (Just bought it this morning)
Yep, I can play drums. One of the other guitarists in my band owns a Tama IronCobra double bass pedal and my drummer just rapes the kit... I'll get full band recordings on here soon.

The first song I ever learned was Master of Puppets on one string.
Screw Gibson, get a Dean. Dean guitars are a fifth of the price, they look better and they sound the same. My next guitar will be a '79 Dean V

haha yea gibsons are pretty damn expensive, but angus young is my god and he used a gibson sg so i just have an obsession with them

nobody gave a shit about dean until Dime re-endoursed. now, dime's dead, so everyone worships dean and krank because that was his last official reg.
custom deans cost JUST as much as custom Gibsons too.
i'd so much rather play a gibby before a Dean

1. I liked Dean before he died.
2. Krank sucks.
3. Why would you get a custom Dean when you could get an awesome '79 for 400 US? Every Dean I have ever played (under 500US) mutliated the 2000US Les Pauls I have played. I mean completely raped them.
4. Matter of opinion. I love Dean guitars.

Damn how much did the Dime V cost? And what songs are you playing now? I've been playing for 2 years and only metallica songs I can play are fade to black, and call of ktulu (not the solo). And I'm actually learning puppets at the moment, just started it last week. I don't worship metallica though but Kirk is damn good .

Dime V cost me about 200 US. I'm playing alot of The Haunted, Pantera and some Metallica. My band will be playing Creeping Death, Master of Puppets and Domination live.
Kirk is pretty good, but like alot of people say, all he does is play pentatonic scales at different speeds to sound like he's really shredding. He's awesome, but there are a ton of better guitarists out there(and some dead, but let's not get into that).

Nice, can't belive that only cost you 200. And can you play the solos for all of the metallica songs? If you can I need to get off my *** and start practicing alot more.

Used.
I can't play very many solos at all. I make up my own for when a song calls for one. I know the Master of Puppets solos, Nothing Else Matters and some other stuff... but learning alot of Metallica's solos is pretty hard.
Practice as much as you can. I do my best to play at least 4 hours a day.

You have time to play 4 hours a day and you're going to fit in playing ladder season? Wow you're amazing lol. I can hardly squeeze in an hour to practice. I'm asian, and my parents expect for me to for the SATs all summer. The SATs ****ing blow.

Sure do. I have nothing better to do... I just play guitar all day. Only difference is now I'm playing D2 again.
I haven't done homework/studying for school since the 6th grade... I'm going to 11th this year.
All I can say is do your best to practice... if you've had enough of studying, go play your guitar. Screw D2.
The only reason I STOP practicing is because it hurts to play after 3 hours. Then your fingers start to bleed and you KNOW it's time to stop.

Yeah, there's too many distractions today, I wish my friend never got me hooked on diablo or else I might be practicing too. Not to mention Halo 2, I know it's a complete waste of time but I just can't stop. I wake up at 10:30, then I usually go hang out with friends from like 11-4, practice for an hour, eat dinner, do a couple sections of SAT and sit here playing diablo and halo or going on d2sector then going to sleep, that's pretty much how my life is.
