Would American culture be different if he survived? Hard to say, maybe you should travel back in time and show him proof of what herion ended up doing to him...

I don't wish I could travel in time to stay, but I would like to travel foward in time just to see what I could be changing now to make a positive difference in my life and the life of others...

As for money and material possessions go, ehh, not something that i would be concerned about if i had a real time machine laying in my front yard...

Between traveling forward and backwards in time, i would have to say, id like to be around 20 years old in the early 80's and invest money in Dell, IBM, Micro, u know all the big boys, but hey who wouldnt?

But in contrast to traveling back in time, I would also want to go forward to check out technology of the future, like my dad always says, "when we were growing up we never dreamed of "Cell Phones", they were something we saw in science fiction comics, and look at us now, we have a tv in our car hahahah...." - end quote

I hold no resentment, nor did I find offense in anything spoken. My memory is too short for that kind of complex thought... :wacky: It is wonderful to return and find an intelligent member on these forums. Before I left, all I can remember was banning people every other day, and closing threads every other minute. Glad to see that Chesh and Spit shut the door to most of those people.
Anyways back to the thread, it should develop as long as we continue on our path...maybe I can get Chesh or a moderator to oversee it and help it on its course, just in case of potential sabotage from some drones with no better time on their claws.

But for myself, I wouldn't go anywhere, I enjoy life as it is already.
But for pure enjoyment and cruel purposes, I would gather a shitload of ammo, assault rifles, and a tank (if size permits) and go back to revolutionary or civil war time and just kick ***. Maybe the south COULD rise again!

I went out for the first time in 19 years today. There was a 'super redneck' store in the flea market I wen ttoo. I expected rebel flags, mild racism, and toothless hicks drinking cheap beer.


Well, I got the toothless hicks, but what was in this store astonished me. Hitler quotes, atleast 10 differnet ones. Neo-Nazi tees, and, get this, three KKK members. Recruiting.


I am serious.

There was a shirt. You know, where the 12 year old is urinating on something. The one everyone everywhere has seen. That one. It was in full color; that same kid in a KKK hood and trenchcoat, taking a leak on a black guy.. who was eating a watermellon and a piece of chicken. The caption "Take Charge" was over it.

That was the least offensive and graffic, too.
