Item Colors? :(

Hey, I just formatted my computer and I re-installed Diablo 2... The color of rare and unique items look basically the same... How do you fix it? The rare items look more gold rather then yellow and uniques look gold too.

see what I mean? It never use to be like that before I formatted. I tried to fiddle around with the Gamma and stuff and that didnt work so yeah... Your help would be appreciated.

its your brightness just turn it down in the options and u should be fine

thats wut it looked like on my old comp but the screen was realy crapy, so thats wut made it wrong, but by the time I actualy learned how to play and wut was wut, i had a new comp. Anyway, just try to turn down the game brightness, if that dosent work then mess around with the color properties in the windows thing, select the highest u can go.

yeah... I don't know, 32-bit color is the highest I can go and it was already set to that... I also tried 16-bit color and that didn't work... I don't know it sucks hard... I keep picking up rare items thinking they are unique

heh, I got it working by adjusting the brightness... now I have a really dark screen but I guess I have to live with it eh... Thanks for your help guys

and switch you color on your moniter than it should be all good... brightness is always the anwser most the time
