Trust me, you will never ever need another anti-virus.

I think I'll stick with NOD32 for now. But I'd be curious to see some test to see how it stacks up with other AV's. Course, I've been spending most of my time in Ubuntu lately, so I'm not using anything at all.

Yea, Ubuntu is Linux. They're famous for actually sending out disks for free.

avg is pretty awesome, i use it and it seems to find most virus, it is best to use with other detection software like ad-ware or spybot s&d.

I think....norton makes the viruses...so they get worse so they get you to buy their newest products. NAV 2004, 2005, etc....it's an excellent marketing strategy lol, at least I think it would be. Plus, I use AVG, and it detects so much more than norton does, and its free too. I use what he said^. AVG+Ad-aware SE+spybot, works wonders for me.

Btw...Is firefox alright to use? cause spybot detects alot of advertising shit from firefox that never came from IE.

firefox alone wont prevent you from viruses..you still download files there, they'll still have viri in them. i dont use an anti virus...i use adaware though.

Yea, I know that lol I don't download anything I wouldn't trust....just saying though, some advertising.com crap, I guess it's cookies? Never saw it come from IE though, just FireFox.

Haha, that reminds me of that time I tried to download a "dupe hack" when I was just a little noob back in early 09...that laptop really suffered. Oh well, that's where I had learned my lesson. Big Grin
