monitor just got ****ed from doom 3?

Are you using a flat screen? If so what's you pixel refresh rate maybe the monitor cant handle the graphic's of doom 3. I had that problem with my dell flat screen the monitor didn't have a fast enough pixel refresh rate.

mines a radeon x700 pro and has 256 mbs of memory... will that make it any better or does it not matter at all? and im also gona have to find some place around here that will sell me that FHS or find some website that orders to canada..., thanks for your help tool

There's a 256 version of the 6600 I think. But anyway, video memory is only for putting the graphics up higher. With 128 I can run BF2 on medium. And BF2 on low is similar to Doom 3 on high.

if you run alot of ram then the vid card memory won't make much difference. when you start getting into the dual card setups with 256mb then you'll see some diference but between 128 and 256 card size you won't feel much especially if you're running 768mb+ ram.

now if you go from a 64mb Geforce MX440 to a 256mb Geforce 6200 OC you'll feel a difference

yeah I am having my alien ware computer built with dual drive's 2gig ram etc. but now my main concern is flat screen monitor cuase of the pixel refresh rate's not sure what one would be the best.

dude... lcd is the best you can get right now. thats what voodoopc offers with their computers and they build their machines for extreme gaming. one sec and i'll post you a link to a good one.

thats the cheapes monitor voodoopc offers they advertise it for like a little over 400 bucks if you add it to your order. pretty damn nice monitor i might add. if you don't live in canadia (har har) then you can get one of those for 325.99 plus 9.99 shipping from newegg.
