Well see here's the thing...Linkin Park does in fact suck pretty hard, it's a scientific fact, and Tool does kick major ass, also a fact. Scientists have proven it...are you trying to say you're superior to science?

I agree Slipknot does suck really bad since all their songs sound like they're the same thing. Personally I like Tool, some like Arch Enemy but I stick to Rage Against The Machine, A Perfect Circle, Rob Zombie & Classics (Led, Floyd, etc.)
And if you listen to slipknot, you should go ****ing hang yourself, since you think Slipknot is metal yet it is almost like Mandy Moore in away.

I had to say my piece on this. I ****ing LOVE slipknot. They're not metal though. They're not even NU-metal. They're grindcore. I'll also admit that Corey Taylor is a ****ing piece of shit who doesnt care about anyone but himself. The whole band is that way. It's called an image. They project that shit onto their audience because that's what a maggot wants to hear. You guys know they call their fans maggots? It's sick, but dude, the 2 Slipknot shows I've been to ****in rocked man. They put on a hell of a live show, Corey Taylor is an amazing vocalist, and they got like 19 people in their band. It's like a heavier Earth, Wind, and Fire. Without blakc people. And with masks. You get the point. I'm sorry Corey Taylor isnt funny. I'm also sorry his Slipknot fans came to a Tenacious D tribute show. I'm sorry half the people in this flame thread don't know their asshole form a hole in the ground. Metal ****ing rules. Grindcore rules... but in a different way. I like grindcore because it's almost like techno with screaming and a lot more snare drum. Actually I don't really like techno, but maybe you get my point. Children of bodom ****ing rule... even the keyboardist could melt your face off with a solo... that dude is sick. I can't say enough about maynard. Tool and a perfect circle, while different, are both dope bands. Maynard's a genius. Here's a few nobodys thinking about. Black Label Society, Pantera, Nonpoint, and chimaira.
P.S. Metallica ****ing sucks. I'd rather listen to ****ing Creed and Nickelback. I probably shouldn't've said that. I just threw up a little in my mouth talking about them.
By the way, I'd like to say I dont ****ing understand Tool's sig. He's got a mix of Emo and not Emo bands. Breaking Benjamin isn't emo... and I don't think of chevelle as emo either. If I could suggest.... maybe taking back sunday? Saves the day? Dashboard? you know, some real slit your wrists and wear a handkercheif around them because you can't find the vein sh!t...

Actually, I went to a slipknot concert (a friend won free tickets) and comparing them to any, and I mean ANY, other concert I've been to, they sucked ass at providing even a good show. That must've been your first concert. The best band at ever doing concerts, AC/DC, as shown in their 1993(?) concert at Donnington. I have the dvd and they rocked. But I do agree, slipknow is definitly grunge. assuming by grindcore that you mean grunge.

If you're looking into Tool for the first time, I'd also recommend Aenima... Which is probably my favorite song of all time. Great message... Also, Lateralus is great, in addition to the songs Tool listed.

Basically, what everyone is trying to say is if you don't like Tool you're a god damned faggot and you know nothing of how the world works, how life works, and are in fact at LEAST half retarded.
