I had to say my piece on this. I ****ing LOVE slipknot. They're not metal though. They're not even NU-metal. They're grindcore.

As far as I remember, grindcore was a genre of Death Metal, such as Morbid Angel. Slipknot is not Death Metal, nor is it anything like Morbid Angel.

As some of you may know (it's not that hard to figure out) I'm from Iowa. And here in Iowa, Slipknot originated. So people, who think they know metal, seem to think that they owe themselves to Slipknot for putting Iowa on the metal map. Let me tell you guys something. No.

So Corey Taylor is friends with a few local bands that are signed to shitty Iowa labels. Right? Right. And so tonight there was a show at the House of Bricks, which is a bar that a lot of good bands, including my brother's, play at. Anyway, so Corey and this guy named Josh from On a Pale Horse (Google them, they're pretty good) decided they wanted a do a tribute to Tenacious D.

WHERE THE **** DO SLIPKNOT FANS GET OFF COMING TO A ****ING TRIBUTE SHOW TO TENACIOUS D? Half, if not all, of the ****ing people came there just to suck Corey ****ing Taylor's **** off. **** those people, dude.
