Why I cry

I have to cry my fears away
Wash away the hurts for today
Let them tumble, Let them roll
That rain that cools my heated soul
I have to cry to heal the pain
Cuz if i don't i'll go insane
The tears chase away my evil dreams
And turns out all my silent screams
I have to cry so i can hide
Dcrease the fears i've amplified
Uproot my snake-like sins so twisted
To leave the fire dead; unlisted
I have to cry for me to live
Despite the horrors left to give
Destroying my agony i anticipate
For one more breath above my fate
I do not wish to live.

Some people write depressive things in order to fight depressive feelings. They vent these feelings onto paper and it remains on the paper rather than lingering in their mind. I happen to enjoy poetry myself and write some when motivation strikes and mine tend to be rather depressing at times. You have to face it though that most highschool students are going to write depressive and angsty poetry. Some of them will attempt a love poem that usually ends up being complete garbage that they wrote for a girlfriend though.

I like it, good job with that man. Whether you wrote it for this reason or not, I too feel better after I write my problems down and how I feel about them. Decent poem.
