Europe is just much more conservative. Usually, if you leave us alone, we leave you alone. That is probably the reason for why Europe has not done so much against rulers like Saddam. However, don't forget the fact that European countries have thousands of troops over in Iraq at the moment.

But look at it now. First, the US gets attacked (9.11). We then helped you guys in Iraq, and since then many European cities have been attacked, London, Madrid. Was it worth it? Why the hell should we stop some 3rd world ruler from oppressing his people, when the people that we helped are now blowing our wives and children to bits in our own homes?

Because if you are not with us, you are considered against us, if that country has any part in a war and it is not something that the U.S. or U.N. would aprove of, then they are considered the enemy. People do not want to upset the U.S.

Is that how Americans think? Because that I would see as a reason to hate the U.S. for. If Estonia didn't have their troops in Iraq, would you then consider us enemies? What if we just wanted to live peacefully by ourselves, and not fight other peoples' wars?

They send troops because they support the cause and yes some send them to help their relationship with the U.S. But countries like France, who for the most part do nothing about everything, are so overly critical and despise us until they're being invaded and save their asses...then they loved us.
