Ok, first those planes were hijacked already inside of the US. Second, they were commercial flights so they were never expected of anything violent until the first plane hit. Third, a commercial plane isn't equipped to drop bombs so no Chinese bomber would ever make it very far into US air space to drop the bomb.

I think US/China/Japan are allies if it came right now in the North Korea Missile Crisis which already happened but still taken with procautions.

China and US have been working together after the Chinese helped US in WWII but a war would be stupid as AlmostDeadly said.

If US were to attack China, Japan would probably respond back and even maybe Russia or any close allies to the China military. But for now, a war wouldn't happen between them. The US may have the best military system but the Chineese outnumber the American Army by a lot.
