i recommend 120/45 helm it boosts your damage alot of ur willing to sacrifice the +2 skills and life/mana the shako offers

u should also fill your inventory up with 100pdsc's or higher if u can (make sure u got a torch and anni in there too)

With a 15Fant FAITH you need 95Ias for last Bp. With 14 or lower u need 100IAS for last Bp. Andd without Faith you ned 165IAS for last Bp.

I wouldn't bother with multi and ar rings. Max out guided and then put more points in dodge, avoid, etc. This allows you to use highlords for deadly strike (double damage) and absorb rings if required. Also drop the 100 poison scs and replace them with max dam and life gcs or 20 life scs or 3/x/20 s.

I wouldn't bother with the sup arch plate w/ 4x 40/15 facets. Replace it with a trechery for fade and venom precast (venom does more damage than 37*100 poison scs, BTW by using venom 100 poison scs become useless because their efficiency is reduced to 0.4 second. Get fade from trechery aswell, then replace it with a forti or coh depending on the opponent.

Edit: 37*100 poison scs = 3700 dam => (1/6)*3700 in PvP = 616 dam. almost always the opponent has 75% resist therefore => 616*(1/4) = 152 damage witch is nothing in comparis on to 800 extra life from 20 life scs before bo.

The damage show means nothing, you have to calculate your damage based on damage type and taking into concideration resistances and PvP damage penalties.

Additional Comment:
I would recommend the following stats/eq/skills:

Matriarchial bow Faith - stats don't matter, the more the better in terms of damage but ias breakpoint will not change. NB! do not use Grand matron bow cos it's way too slow.

Giant skull (2xshael) - for knockback and fhr.

Highlord - for ias and ds.

crafted/magical Gloves - 3 bow and 20 ias

Nosferatus coil - for ias and str mainly

War travellers - nice damage increase

Rings - deafult rings should be dual ravens cos more dex = more dam but keep dual wisps and dual dwarfs in your chest for duelling sorcs.

cta and lidless for bo

1 bow skiller with 12 fhr - then you'll hit the 52 fhr breakpoint

Fill your inv with: anni, torch, 2x 5 all resi scs and 32x 20 life scs.

coh ap /forti ap/trechery(lowest defense armor you can find) - i'll explane in a bit.

Stats - enough str for eq, enough dex for eq without ravens and the rest in vita.

BEFORE A DUEL

Use deamon limb to cast enchant, use trechery for venom and get fade if needed. If you can't be bothered yo get fade then use coh against casters but venom is a must have. Once you have done all 3 precasts equip forti for a massive defence and damage increase. Btw if you get fade then you'll have stacked resis even with fortitude. After boing change your second set of weapons to Harmony bow for vigor.


Skills:

1 cold arrow
1 magic arrow
1 multiple shot
20 guided arrow

20 dodge
20 avoid
20 evade
put so many points in critical strike that you'll get 100% deadly strike with highlord.
rest in valk

would a vamp gaze with a 15 ias 12 all res jewel be ok for someone who dont want to spend 2 hr for a 40-15? and is vampaze a good helm?

Giant skull is definately not the best helm for pvm but knockback from it is a must have in a duel. I would recommend andariels instead of gaze cos it's got 20 ias and other nice mods change your belt to verdangos aswell since the ias from that is not required anymore. Anyway if you are gonna make a ama make sure reach the desired breakpoints.

That eq i have stated above is optimised for max ias and life, you can hold back smiters and barbs with knockback (if knockback doesn't work for you use a ber ber coa) but remember that with block not all of the arrows will hit and therefore knockback will buy you more time than dr. With large amounts of absorb and life it is also possible to duel sorcs really well.

Open woulds is useless for amas generally, it only works well with very high damage characters.

ya umm.... im on non ladder, so i couldnt use that venom armor, but i did get a dragon shield, which gives 20 venom.... so i did just like you said, replacing trechery with dragon and my dmg is like 3k.... is it suppose to be that low? i have the exact set up as you do, except i use imps instead of travs cause i only got a one socket giant skull so i needed the fhr... plz tell me what im doing wrong.. cause my dmg was shitty ><... well against a druid anyway
