why do people hate fat people

Ok I will add my 2 cents worth here. I have never in my life been over 139 lbs,and that was 9 months pregnant. Being tiny is hereditary..there is not a damn thing I can do about it!.I will NEVER be 5 ft tall...at the age of 43 I have learned to accept this.Some of my best friends are quite large and tall as well (damn them)One of my very best friends recently had surgery as he was close to 400lbs and his health is at risk.the operation was long and painful to recover from.
I suggest that some of you small minded people grow the hell up and stop judging the outside of the package and look to the heart and mind instead! You might be surprised at what you find in a person.
People that judge simply on appearence totally disgust me,as in my opinion they have the brains of a cricket.
I was a Model,I know I am attractive,this is not vanity but fact.
I would much rather have a person that likes me and enjoys my company for who I am inside,and not for what I look like.
I also am well aware this single post will not change many minds...but be warned NOW I do not get along well with people who are so shallow they base their opinion of a person solely on how much they weigh.

I am 1 human being, and as there is about 4+ billion people in this world, i won't be able to change much by just hating a specific group. I myself, i'm about 5'8 and a small 115 pounds. Not much for a 15 year old guy, i know, but no one i've ever known or met has ever hated me for being skinny. You immature jerks need to lighten up, and back off, for obese people are people too. some people are just bigger naturally... i mean, otherwise we wouldnt have 300lb linemen in the NFL. Some people just can't work it off.... sucks to be them. Me? I feel bad for fat people sometimes.... but when i see a 200 pound 10 year old scarfing his 3 double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a large diet coke, it upsets me.

I heard that if you eat peanut butter before going to sleep, you will gain wieght because your body is inactive during sleep.

Some of it is strongly hereditary,and other aspects are diet and life style.
The point I was making is I don't judge simply by looks.
Because of the media and current trends in societal thinking ,larger people are shunned,debased,and looked down upon.This pisses me off to no end.I have a bright attractive cousin that has been overweight her whole life.I would take her to job interviews for applications,and they would look at ME offering a job. When I said I am not looking they then turned to Her and said *I am sorry,we are not hiring at the moment*

What about the people who bring it on themselves? Like the people who addmit to eating at McDonalds about five times a day, and then sue the fast food company with a ridiculous statement such as, "They didn't tell me that consuming so much greasy, fattening food would make me fat"?

now, i think thats a little wrong for people to do. You cannot blame the suppliers for the consumers' mistakes. Sure, i also like to eat a few DoubleQuarter Pounders with a large fries and coke, but you really shouldn't try to place the blame on McDonalds for making you gain a few pounds. Its the same story. Person makes mistake, person blames other person/object to get rid of self-responsibility, person forgets about problem. Its obese people like that is what created the intolerance to all obese people. The person who ordered the 5 Big Macs a day should know the consequences of gaining a few pounds and a few degrees risen in their cholestorol. All other obese people with health issues or other disabilities inabiling them to slim down are suffering for this prejudice.

I feel sympathy for them myself.I once knew of a man that had to have his wall torn out so paramedics could remove him from his home.I know they get quite large,and those bed bound because their legs can no longer support them are the most painful.Often at this point surgery and drastic measures are required to simply keep their hearts from bursting or the lungs from collapsing.

Im one of the fat people everyone is talking about, and i just got to say there is no need to feel sorry for us. I'm 6 foot and weigh 280 and know that I'm fat, not fat like the girls in the Ford picture but just a large build. And the only time i feel bad about my weight is when others look down on me for being fat. And to the people that think you can judge others buy there weight can jump off a cliff. And I would like to think people that stand up for the fat guy.

Well, since the guy above revived this thread, might as well put my thought into this.
I dont care if one another is fat, it doesnt really make a difference to me. I have a couple of friends that are fat.
Anyone who I see making fun of someone because they are fat in school I punch them right in their face.
People shouldnt be judged by the way they look,eat,walk,talk or any of that other stuff.
