I figured this out in school when my friend cracked a pen in half. Please dont try to shoot anybody cuz if you use the right pen and spring, it'll hurt like hell.

Lol, there's not much to it, a Spring + Object = Projectile. Learn to hold a Camera still too.

A simple how to make:

get any old clicky pen, make sure that you can open it up. look at the ink, if it has those edges that pop out to keep the spring from passing, then this is the ink you are going to use. Stretch the pen spring and then put it on the pen behind the raised edges. Find the pen tip, and cut it enough so the ink can slide through, but the springs and the edges that prevent the springs from passing cannot. Put the back of the pen through the pen tip, and pull the back of the pen through the tip, and pull it until the spring prevents it from being pulled any farther. Aim at your target and release the ink

i have no doubt that it would stick to the ceiling, and i was going to try it in health but didnt at fear of losing all three (yes now i have three) springs.

some pen that my parents got from a real estate company, its a dinky little clicky pen, but you MUST STRETCH TEH SPRING to make it go hard enough

In the middle of class, nobody is doing nothing and everyones talking. I pull out my pen thing, step out of my chair, stand in the middle of the classroom and let the springs do the work. The pen thing goes flying up and hits the ceiling and i sit there expecting it to land in my hands but it doesn't. For a moment, i hesitate and then look up. Stuck, in the ceiling, is my pen thing. Everybody just stares at the pen in amazement for a moment and then empty all of their laughter.
