Trapsin Question

Im asking if you are making a PvP lightening trapsin you max all the lightening traps. Ive read some guides and they have said to max WoF (<-- if you don't know that you suck at life) What is the point of that !?! Imo i wouldnt waste the skills. What do you think? Also, what are the best items. And is it a good idea to wear enigma? Ty all
