cd/dvd drive open upwards?

hey i wanna put my cd/dvd upwards in my pc so i can open from an openin and the top of my pc, i just wanted to know if the cd will fall out everytime i open it

No it won't. You mean putting the cd vertically into the drive? Or do you mean the drive coming out from the top like a bread in a toaster? Either way, a cd can be in a drive vertically.

try holding the drive vertically and testing it

im not so worried about the cd fallin from tray i can fix that but, i better question is before i do that i gotta cut alot of stuff out from my pc, suchs and the bottom chassis part where the cd-drive hold and also the whole floppy chassis (dont got a floppy anyway) im thinking my pc will start to lean if i dont reinforce for whole pc
