House is a great show. The characters are so refined. I love it, even though every episode follows the same equation:

I'm currently getting the full list of Futurama episodes and Family Guy (although I have seen all of them)... but it should be fun watching Futurama episode after Futurama episode for the next few days until classes start up again.

house is awesome but i like scrubs more for comedy and house is more a serious comedy dont get me wrong house is funny in some parts but is very entertaining

Oh yea I love scrubs and maybe old fashioned but I love Cheers, trying to get the full collection on DVD have like half of em now and I got all the scrubs.

As far as Simpsons/Family Guy thing goes I am the same depends on episode I am watching Family Guy can really take one the way to far for a really long time.

Family Guy sucks it doesn't even try to have a joke half the time, it just assumes that making a pop culture reference is inherently funny. Its jokes are neatly calculated to make sure they don't actually risk offending their fan base, instead they make jokes that would be offensive to the kinds of people who don't watch the show, sexual prudes, for example. Any genuinely cutting-edge comedy will risk offending people who watch it; but how is a ***** joke supposed to offend the average college student? It's ALL lazy comedy.

The Simpson's is a much more brilliant show and is why it has lasted 20 seasons and is still lasting!

What the hell is wrong with you people?

They don't make new episodes of Futurama, which is funnier than The Simpsons and Family Guy combined. They are, however, making new straight to DVD movies still.

and sorry for the double post here but to quote you, depending on how their fourth Futurama dvd sells their is a 50-50 chance that they will bring back the seasons of futurama SO GO BUY ALL THE FUTURAMA DVD's HURRY!

Also Matt Groening, the creator of the simpsons and futurama which also makes it twice as better then family guy.

Firefly was amazing...shame it was canceled. Only show I currently watch is Battlestar Galactica and this week's episode is the last.

Damn...Firefly really? I almost watched it. Spoonie do not feel bad...as my husband watches the last few episodes...I make him snacks and serve him Corona in a chilled mug with salt and lime.
He is intense and I keep all telephone conversations low...and in another room.

Family Guy cause its the cartoon for adults, Simpsons is the cartoon for teenagers. I used to like Simpsons a while ago but now its humor is just repetitive, corny and sometimes just plain lame. IMO Family Guy just gets better and better until they come out with an episode that repeats previous ones...then its just dumb, but the series is great.

Family Guy is funnier, but I used to love the Simpsons. South Park is meh. The Simpsons occassionally goes too far with some of it's jokes, Family Guy tries to go too far at least once an episode, and South Park goes waaay too far all the time. They didn't used to, but they tru harder and harder to do it so that they can maintain their audience. Family Guy has a lot more non-shock humor, and the writers know how to keep it funny without insulting every demographic they can.
