also, the cival war did not start because the northern states wanted to end slavery, they wanted to stop it from spreading. thats a huge difference. there were more slaves living up north than the southern states. also, a war over gay marraige would be highly unlikely. america now a days is slightly more civilized than it was back in the 1860's

I don't recall you answering anything. And no, that is not why the Civil War started. Slavery was contained to the southern states, there was no spreading. It was a battle of power between states. And I never said a war over slavery would happen. I said it would be really stupid. Your comphrehinsion skills are pathetic.
