What is your opinion on gay people and gay marriage?

gay ppl should not be aloud to get married! god never intended it that way. however they are still okay ppl becaus gayness is actualy a mental diseas that is uncontrolable to that person. its not their fault they dont choose to be gay. It is not their fault? People do things for one reason and one reason only, becuase the choose to. If you held a gun to someone and demanded that they give them all of your cash, you could either Choose, to give them what they want, or not. If you are at a party, you can either Choose, to get drunk and sleep with someone you don't know, probaly resulting in her being impregnated, or you can choose not to. Life is about choices, we each make our own.

Wait a minute, I did not say that people "choose to do these things from believing in God". I'm not some religious nut, I just think religion has its uses. People do things because they choose to do them, they want to, and basicly they do it only for themselves and out of the beleif that they will recieve something in return.

If scientists cannot explain it or prove it, they slap a label on it and proclaim it a "condition". And a phycologist is a person who evaluates you and tells you what you are doing wrong in life and not evaluating himself first to see if he is in fact credible enough to be giving people advice with matters he has little or no experiance; he read it from a book, but that has very little equivalence next to actual experiance. I am not saying that they are pointless, if someone finds comfort by telling someone their problems and getting advised on possible solutions then more power to them. And science is just as equal with religion, they constanly compete with each other because man only beleives what he sees; if he does't see it, he claims it doesn't exist, or he takes it on the faith of anothers word that he is being truthful.

my dad is a psychologist and he said this kid is right and that he nos wat he is talkin about!!!! he says that trans are not under this catagory they are the 1nes who choose to be gay ... this is rare and these ppl are called true gays!!!

Listen to what you are saying, what your dad is saying, and what X is saying. You are saying that certain people choose to be this way, as if it were some phycological problem or some disease. People choose what they want to be, how they want to live and so forth. If you are out on the streets collecting welfare that you spend on alchol, then that is a choice, you could go look for work and try to improve your lifestyle, that is another choice. If some one is gay, it is because they choose to be gay. There is no certainty that they are "born that way", that is complete skeptisism, such as saying that someone was destined to fail in life no matter how hard they try. It is about choices, they choose who they want to be with and what they want to do.

It is not a choice, It never will be. It is influence and upbringing, While that may sound negative im glad of my upbringing and how i am. You don't just choose one day and the people that supposedly do are fooling themselves.
Did you choose to be straight? No. You realised when you hit your teens that you liked women. Now that is the exact same for gay people. they hit their teens and realise they like men.
I don't see why people try to use different explanations and theories when we are the same in essence as straight people, just with different preference.
