You still claim that it is not about choice, but you do not state why you think it is only in their mind. I doubt that it is their mind to be that way when they are born. Perhaps you are saying that they don't know any better? Which still wouldn't make sense because of all the exposure in the world relating to homosexuals, they would know something about it.

I wasn't talking about attraction and I don't remember who did. I simply stated that I think people are responsible for their actions, because in the end, the choice is ultimately theirs to make. I know about attraction and all of the pheromone experiments but I am not talking about attraction, I am talking about how he thinks it is some sort of disease to be gay; I think it is a choice. You can be born a man/woman and choose to get a sex change.

if you know attaction isnt a choice, then you'd know being gay isnt either. no one can choose who they are attracted to...that includes people of the same sex, opposite sex, monkeys, whatever. and not all posts are directed at you.

OK, I don't know what the fuss over attraction is about, so I will attempt to end this argument about choosing to be gay or straight. A female homosexual person told me that she did not choose to be gay, its just how her mind was. She said that when she was a little young, she realized that she was attracted to woman. Her famliy is homophobic, so she wanted to get rid of these homosexual thoughts. She tried her BEST to stop liking the same sex. In her attempt, she hated people who really were gay or acted gay. In the end, she had to accept the fact that she was gay herself. So in conclusion, you CANNOT choose to be gay, you are born that way. Well actually, scientists themselves haven't COMPLETELY proved the fact that people are born gay, but its most likely true.

Most gays I know did not just suddenly wake up one morning and decide they were going to have sex with people of the same gender. They claim it was just something in their head...they couldn't help it. Though it's always possible to make a choice to be or do something in life even if it's a little off.
