Gay-striaght alliance club huh? Why can't they be objective, pick ine side or the other? And whoever made the poll for this thread, put so many options that I doubt people can even form opinions anymore. There are just to many catagories:

what are you talking about? it's an alliance between gays and straights that aims to foster understanding. what do you mean by objective? are you suggesting they start a club exclusively for gays or straights?

I thought you meant they were a club trying to convince others of their believes. Such as, gays would impress gay views and strights would impress striaght views. I thought that they were one club. It didn't make sense. Now I have a clearer understanding of what you meant.

hmm gay people isn't that bad after all and as long as they is human being then its fine by me by the way then the bible doesnt have any meaning in this little talk hehe it is tu jesus did say: love every human as they will love you. but thats not the same that people can't be gay! if they want to do that then fine the other of us can just look away

Yet, the prospect and practice of it is unnatural. I'm not saying it is wrong or right. I'm just saying it isn't normal. And I know that the Bible says it has been practiced for thousands upon thousands of years, but if your going to get biblical, reflect on what happened to the cities of Sodom adn Gamorah. People have their own views of what they approve of. For thousands upon thousands of years, things such as muder and child molestation have been going on. But does that make it right? Do you think it is ok for someone to rap a eight year old girl just because the bible says it happened long ago? Some people do, but everyone has their own perception.

This is what I am talking about. The indecisivness. You think they are good people. yet if they get to close to you you'll scream at them. But you are entitled to your own perception of things.

if a homosexual person gets close to me and says what they are (like i never heard about it before) i tell them my beliefs and i encourage them to change, of course i cant force them. I still treat them as people, but i wont act like they're my best friends (in a sense) and if the conversation ever gets back to it, ill tell them my beliefs and i dont care if they dont like me no more.

dont say that he/she isnt. i just want to know your attitude and your approach on your friendship now that this has happenend

To improve on this hypothetical situation, what if it was someone you have been friends with since childhood, or a sibling? Would thier conffession alter your feelings for them?

depends on what type of feelings, like i said, i'd trty to change them, of course id first say i was against it, id ask them if there was a specific reason why they are like that and help them (my point of view) with their problem.


i wouldnt exile them, but i would let them know that i disagree with their situation strongly

Sometimes a strong diagreement of anothers choices can lead to exilement, because everyone believes they have the right to make thier own decisions without being judged for their personal views of live and how they choose to live it. When you try to reform someone, they naturaly rebel and grow farther away from you.

change them? it's not a choice it's a lifestyle people don't jsut decide to be gay they just are
