That's the way it works. If you don't want to be incorporated with the label, don't act like them.

When people are dissing emo, they're not dissing the music.... it's the way that people dress and look JUST BECAUSE of the style of music they listen to.

I listen to Metal. I wear band shirts to support the bands I listen to. My hair isn't long because I listen to metal, it's because I like it that way. It'd be the same way if I listened to rap.

I think everyone should quit playing anti-stereotype and get on with their lives. Emo, Hardcore, Punk and Rap will always have their hardcore followers who will dress a certain way just because of the music they listen to... Get over it.

I just wanna say i can really care less about people like some other people who do just that exact same thang.

Quite recently, Ive noticed a HECK of a lot of people who claim to be "open minded" Bash people who they, or the person themselves deem to be "Emo"
May i ask why, This is just like the whole hate of the "goths" and the "punks" etc.

Honestly, I'm "goth," and "punk" although I don't concider myself these things that's what I'm called, but I still hate ****ing emos, the steriotypical view of them is "oh, I'm sad.. .give me attention..." --- "Life is usless.... I'm gonna go cut...." It's bullshit in my opinion, they strive to be different, as most "goths" do but in reality they and the other million other "goths" are the same, so in the end the irony triumphs. Like I sad, they all try and be different by wearing black, but they're all the same, "Oh, me and my ten other goth friends over here are different, unique, an outcast of society, because we wear all black, and listen to death metal"

Either way, emo's **** me off.

Yes, this is ironic because being unnaccepting people are deemed 'ignorant' because they don't spend the time learning about people.

I don't want to learn about other people, that's wasting my time, they're gonna be themselves whether I like them or not. Instead, I'd rather be with my own people.

Don't get me wrong, just because I don't accept someone's views doesn't mean that I'll bash them constantly, that too would be just wasting my time. I'll get over it, they'll get over it too.

Although I do connect on a certin point, I come from a very unique blood-line, in which if I had told you all I'd probably be thought of as much differently, but in any case that blood-line is not full of accepting people, I honestly don't have a problem with "goths" and "punks" it's when they get all depressed and shit that gets on my nurves.
