personally, i like intel and if i was gonna buy a new computer (and by that i mean make one) i would have it have intel, becuse i use my computer for more than just gaming, i do alot of multitasking, so the dual core system for intel would be perfect, except for the 800$+ price range......... i also do alot of video editing, just another reason i like intel, dont get me wrong though, if the computer was for pure gaming, i would get AMD

You realise theres AMD Dual Cores? Everyone is going to them now on the web side of things (Servers) instead of Dual Xeons. (Kick thier ass)

Yea, the dual core intels really suck compared to the opterons/x2s. In the words of Maximum PC mag, compared to the opteron 800x series, the intel cores look like they were 'held together by duct tape'.
